SAFI
SOCIETAS APERTA FEMINARUM IN IURIS THEORIA
In 2019, together with Dr. Kristin Albrecht and Dr. Claudia Wirsing, I founded the SAFI network. SAFI is an interdisciplinary network for women in legal academia. We are now an internationally active scholarly network with annual conferences. The purpose of SAFI is to facilitate internal networking and to organize and cooperate strategically. In this way, female scholars have a platform to present and amplify their work, and outstanding women's research can become firmly established in legal academia. SAFI sees itself as a network of solidarity that not only harnesses scholarly synergies but also provides support and encouragement.
SAFI delivers information, connects talent with resources, and cultivates collaboration and professional and personal exchange. Together, we generate new ideas and formats to advance the academic careers of women in legal academia and enhance the visibility of their achievements.
